Parker's 2 yo Portraits

My sister Cat is a professional photographer...so being on a budget I decided to take advantage of her free services for Parker's two year old portraits. He turned two November 21st. She did an exceptional job as you can see! Anyway, these are two of the best portraits from that pic session. His Baba (my dad) got him a new Diego tricycle. He loves it, but his feet don't quite reach the pedals yet. Nevertheless, he tries to ride and just sitting on it makes him feel like he is BIG STUFF. Parker's consistent loves have been Mommy, cows, horses, farms, Mommy and tractors. He can even tell you the names of tractors...eg. green is John Deere, orange is Kubota. He was a cowboy for Halloween this year. Cutest cowboy I've ever seen. He was saying Yee Haw when this picture was taken.
He named his horse Patches and was using his horse as an excuse to get 2 pieces of candy while trick or treating. There was one lady that told him he could only get one piece of candy and he told her that his horse needed one too. So smart! She gave him another one.

Parker's Preschool Birthday

Parker turned 2 years old on November 21, 2008. These are pictures from his birthday party at preschool. He had a Thomas the Train party. Parker got to wear a conductor's hat, and a Thomas birthday boy badge...he was pretty excited! Mommy brought in Thomas the Train cupcakes, apple juice and Thomas bubbles for all Parker's friends. As you can tell the blue icing was a hit. All the kids looked like smurfs by the time they were done. What fun!
Birthday boy!

Gitty Up Horsey Go To Town

Parker loves animals. Would not surprise me one bit if he became a vet when he grows up. Only God knows. I have a lady, Susan Gregory, in my Sunday School Class that has a horse at a stable on the edge of Nashville. Their horses name is Opie, he is a show horse for her daughter Grace. There are about 28 horses at these stables and a pony named Buttercup. Susan had Parker and I come out to the stables to see the horses and ride on Opie and Buttercup. Parker got to sit on the horses, brush them, and feed them carrots from his hand. He loved it! Here is the link to our trip to the stables.
